Chapter 4 - Into a new battlefield
the ship carrying the kamidake arrived in front of the fleet of pirates as expected
"well what do we have here... Order that ship to release it's cargo immediately! looks like we got a special bonus today! I can't believe they were stupid enough to fly directly to us!" Gazura ordered

"The ship's stopped" kiriko said
The ship ejected it's cargo container and moved out of the predicted fire range as quick as possible.
the kamidake started it's engine and had the container come undone in sync with it.

"I'm reading a high level energy reaction... It's coming from the container!"
"Fire!"
the ships began firing but the container acted as a shield while it disintegrated.
The kamidake began weaving through the pirates at high speeds as it fired on them.
"Ships 3 and 17 have been destroyed at this rate we will be completely eliminated in minutes!"
"all ships take defense formation!"
"ship 22 had been destroyed!"
"Shields to maximum!"
"They have a shield disintegrator. It's not working!"
their ship shook and plasma blew from the walls.
gazura wasn't amused
"That was a direct hit! our shields are down!"
"Quick call for back up!"
"Sir the enemy ship has done a long distance jump past us!"
"send a ship to collect the survivors, Have the rest of the fleet chase after them! Investigate that shipping vessel!"

as gazura and his fleet left into hyperspace a ship stayed behind and collected the life pods that ejected from the ships. they checked the shipping vessel but it was empty. when the container self destructed earlier it sent out a distress signal.
Erma picked it up and used it to lock onto the kamidake's position.
"Unfortunately this is some disputed territory... I'm afraid the juraian fleet can't afford to go in after seina any further. It has to be a guild ship that goes in there. It's all up to you erma " ringo informed her.
Erma boarded a camoflaugable ship and ran off to find them

in a shadowy board room Nakita explained the ongoing situation to some shadowy figures in the GP army.

the pirates figured out how to track the kamidake's jumps and they started jumping out in front of them in mass so they got off track and ended up off course.
