They give him a choice. go live on an island or get a job and a place to live of his own, he leaves for the island. before he leaves he tells his longtime crush himeko that he likes her. She tells him that
she could never love him, because he is from a poor family. He's lead on a boat to the island on a ship piloted by seina yamada who is accompanied by his cabbits girls, but shou get seasick.
when he gets to the shore he's greeted by dird shank who is now a teenager and quite hyperactive, and alea balta, the sister in law of loretta, alan's wife who he ran off with after winning at racepshi.
Palty jurai and apuesta daruma greet him, palty is the black market sperm child that exists thanks to maya. apuesta is an orphan who is good at treasure hunting, no relation to daruma.

they pass through the village which is clearly masaki village which has been relocated to the island. they pass through a jungle to a beach where shous house is supposed to be only to find it never got made. shou's belongings were all left outside and had gotten rained on and moldy.
the girls suggest he camp out till it's built and they show him how. they set up camp for him and camp with him. they teach him to hunt fish. then they teach him to make a fire, he sets his hair on fire. he starts a conversation about the houses when he notices apuesta talking weird, she communicates through her abacus and it creates a delay so her voice is unsynched with her mouth
shou assumes its ventriloquism. but the girls show him its a sort of handicap assisting device.
after they leave seina and mikami come by to apologize to shou and to bring a fax from his parents.
they explain that he should ignore any construction noises he hears.

he goes to bed but is woken by the sound that seina mentioned to him. he goes to a cliff to use the bathroom and sees dird in a strange state, she's hit by an energy blast that rips off her arm.
she jumps into the sea and disappears in it. alea flys down from the sky and tells him to be quite but he isn't and someone knocks him out.
miron takes him back to the bus and takes care of him she puts him back. the girls wake him up the next day dird makes him breakfast. they head to school.

Everyone on the island gets ready to fight because angry pirates come towards earth insisting they will have their new country established. the girls miron and shou stand infront of the trees of the forest and are transferred to the place they are supposed to use as a base during the proxy war, inside they find seina waiting for them.
Karuteia, who was introduced in the rest of the books that i skiped over, heads somewhere else.
The pirates from the remaining guilds left out of the war demand that shou surrenders his rights to represent the earth and instead give his right of representation to them. they give them an hour to meet their demands.
because earth was going to be Incorporated into the new territory that was formed by the proxy war jurai will not defend them and seina is not allowed to bring the kamidake in the fight.
Miron is mad and gets on the intercom to hurl obscenities at the pirates for ruining "shou proposing to her" which he wasn't. Seina takes the mic away from her.
seina gets permission from the islands owner to use all the forces available on the island including tenchi to fight off the pirates.
miron again picks up the mic to hurl obscenities and let them know that their going to fight.
Seina gives shou the key to start banjo island, he turns it on and realizes there on a ship's bridge, banjo island was really a camouflaged 4th generation royal tree ship the whole time.
seina lets them know that they have to take out the pirates without being noticed by the earthlings.
Mike, ichiro and karutea (all people who came after shou) announce that they have been evacuating all the people and wild live on the ship into a compressed space and that they were ready for take off.
Shou registers as the ships master and takes off they go invisible and jump behind the moon seina sends the cabbit girls to work the controls.
Karutia broadcasts the truth of the situation galaxy wide through the network that was broadcasting the battle. D and seina leave the ship to work from the ground.
From the depths of the blue hole in the ocean zinv emerges and puts up a privacy wall around the earth
Banjo island ambushed the pirates but doesn't attack and in the confusion the dirds teleport onto the enemy ships and infiltrate them in an attempt to make the commanders surrender without harming the ships.
The dirds all get captured in a trap and held at gunpoint. they call shou and state their demands.
Miki whispers something to shou, the cabbits begin preparing for something, shou realizes what there doing and fakes surrendering, only to issue a command that cuts some sensors off on their acoustic weapons and broadcasts the feedback sound of nails on a chalk board... or rather the sound of a ship's hull being shredded. which causes the pirates extreme pain.
Fuku and kirche sneak onto the ship and self destruct their engines. the dirds knock out the pirates and seal them in containment gel. they take over the fleet and make them surrender.
they go back to earth and celebrate
miron asked if shou will take her into space but she declines and tell her he only thinks of her as a teacher. she is upset but says that has nothing to do with the question. so he agrees but only if the rest of the girls come too
shou is declared the national delegate of the new nation formed by him and the dirds by the galactic federation.
Miron brags about how she's going to be the first lady and the dirds drag her off to yell at her shou hides next to seina who tells him to get ready to visit the federation.
Alea confronts show about an event which had been broadcasted, presumably while playing base ball he accidentally exposed the girls on live tv, she asks him to take responsibility.
he runs away as they chase him. technically by owning the ship shou becomes richer then any normal human on the earth besides seina.
the Earth Union State is established.
