Paradise War
For a long time Paradise War was a series that most people in the west knew almost nothing about as it is a part of the Tenchi series that only takes place in novel form.
This story is a sidestory to GXP that takes place ten years later on earth on an "island" called Banjo Island.
*spoiler* It's a 4th generation ship not an island
The protagonist Shou's parents received a pamphlet from Kyoko, Seina's mom, while shopping at the Yamada Shop (I think). His family was poor and wanted him off their backs so they filled out the pamphlet to win a prize and he gets placed as the representative of earth in galaxy wide interstellar proxy war between the various members of the galactic alliance.
Meanwhile Seina, (now much older and going under stupid a pseudonym) and all 4 cabbit girls (Now all white for some reason) monitor the situation and take care of things going wrong in the background.
fun fact: minamida, seina's fake name here is the second kanji for Seina and the second kanji for yamada. so it's not a spoiler. Its like if tenchi showed up as Chi Saki.
The first half of the first chapter had been translated,
